MEETING MINUTES OF INLAND WETLAND MEETING The West Haven Inland Wetlands Agency held a Public Hearing and a Regular Meeting on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Cielo Banquet ( aka West Haven Italian American Club), 85 Chase Lane , West Haven, CT at 6:30 P.M. PRESENT: Commissioners Kane, Perrone, Carr, Beecher, Gilbane, ZEO Conniff and Planning and Development Commissioner Messore. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Commissioner Gilbane made a motion to approve the meeting minutes of February 18, 2020 and March 20, 2020, seconded by Commissioner Beecher and passed. Acceptance: 168 Peabody Street: The construction of a three lot single family subdivision where the construction is within 200 ' of the watercourse regulated area. Will remove asphalt parking area to increase the impervious area and install new sidewalks and curbs along the frontage of the lots. The 3 lot subdivision reduces the impervious area, reduces traffic and increase the harmony with surrounding residential neighborhood. Under section 6 of the Inland Wetland Watercourse Agency Regulations of the City of West Haven. Applicant/Owner: Barry Rosner and Robert Rosner; File # 005-20 IW ZEO Conniff read a letter from Attorney Falcone, the applicant’s attorney, into the record asking for a continuance to October 21, 2020 due to health reasons. The requested subdivision is located in wetlands. Commissioner made a motion to accept File #005-20 IW, seconded by Commissioner Beecher and passed. Staff Reports: Commissioners discussed ways to have the public speak if total public attendees reach capacity. Suggestions to have public wait outside until the application they are interested in comes before the board or advertise that comments will be received at the office in the legal notice. AJOURNMENT: 6:39 p.m Commissioner Gilbane made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Commissioner Carr and passed.
