MEETING MINUTES OF INLAND WETLAND AGENCY NOVEMBER 17, 2020 The West Haven Inland Wetlands Agency held a Public Hearing and a Regular Meeting on Tuesday, November 17th, 2020, in at Cielo Banquet (aka West Haven Italian American Club), 85 Chase Lane , West Haven, CT at 6:30 P.M. PRESENT: Commissioners Kane, Beecher, Gilbane, Perrone, Carr, Assistant City Planner Conniff and Commissioner of Planning and Development Messore. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Commissioner Beecher made a motion to approve the meeting minutes of October 20, 2020, seconded by Commissioner Perrone and passed. 58 Perrymerrill Road: The applicant is putting an in-ground pool within the upland review area. There will be no disturbance to the wetland area and no discharge of water toward the wetlands. Under Section 9.5.1 of the City of West Haven Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Regulations Owner Applicant James and Alicia Bruneau File # 007- 20 IW Dave Fiore, contractor for the installation of the pool, was informed that any discharge of the water needs to flow into the sewer. Mr. Fiore stated a waste line will be installed so the flow can go to the road. The pool will be about 8 ft. from the house and will be 14’ x 28’. Ms. Conniff stated mailings were submitted to the file. Comments were read into the record from the Building Department. No comments were from the Town Engineer. Three calls were made to speak in favor and three calls were made to speak in opposition to this application. Commissioner Perrone made a motion to approve, seconded by Commissioner Carr and passed. Staff Reports Meeting Schedule for 2021 – Commissioner Gilbane made a motion to approve the 2021 meeting schedule, seconded by Commissioner Perrone and passed. Ms. Conniff read a letter from Day Pitney law firm asking for a continuation on the wetland permit File #0008- 18, 693 and 697 Forest Road, Yale University. Commissioner Gilbane made a motion to continue File #0008- 18, seconded by Commissioner Perrone and passed. ADJOURNMENT: 6:41P.M. Commissioner Gilbane made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Commissioner Carr and passed.
