The West Haven Inland Wetlands Agency held a Regular Meeting on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, in at Cielo
Banquet (aka West Haven Italian American Club), 85 Chase Lane , West Haven, CT at 6:30 P.M.
PRESENT: Commissioners Kane, Beecher, Gilbane, Perrone, Assistant City Planner Conniff. Absent was
Commissioner Carr.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Commissioner Perrone made a motion to approve the meeting minutes of
November 17, 2020, seconded by Commissioner Gilbane and passed.
Acceptance
803 Main Street The applicant wishes to construct a 12’ x 14’ 4 season porch within the 200 foot watercourse
regulated area. In the R2 district, under section 6 of the Inland Wetland Watercourse Agency Regulations of the
City of West Haven. Owners: Kathleen Fisher & Denise Blake; Applicant: Baybrook Remodelers INC. File #
008-21 IW
Scott Farquharson, East Haven, CT, of Baybrook is representing the owners. Applicant stated the frame of the
existing deck will remain and a porch will be constructed. No footings or changes will be made. A silt fence
across the back of the property will be installed.
Commissioner Gilbane made a motion to accept File #008-21, seconded by Commissioner Perrone and passed.
Application will be heard on February 16, 2021.
STAFF REPORTS: Chairman Kane informed the commission that the State of CT requires I/W agencies to
have training. There are training sessions on line that can be reviewed. There is no timeline.
OTHER BUSINESS: None
ADOURNMENT: 6:43 P.M.
Commissioner Beecher made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Commissioner Perrone and passed.

Please arrive early for Covid 19 Screening. Mask are required to enter into the building. Hand sanitizer will be available at the front
entrance and sanitized wipes will be located at the podium. All will be escorted to assign seats which will be an accepted social
distance (6'). The City is adhering to the CDC Guidelines.
