MEETING MINUTES OF INLAND WETLAND AGENCY FEBRUARY 16, 2021 The West Haven Inland Wetlands Agency held a Regular Meeting on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, in at Cielo Banquet (aka West Haven Italian American Club), 85 Chase Lane , West Haven, CT at 6:30 P.M. to act on the following matters: PRESENT: Commissioners Kane, Gilbane, Perrone, Beecher and Assistant City Planner Conniff. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE APROVAL OF MINUTES: Commissioner Gilbane made a motion to approve the meeting minutes of January 19, 2021, seconded by Commissioner Beecher and passed. Public Hearing 803 Main Street. The applicant wishes to construct a 12’ x 14’ 4 season porch within the 200 foot watercourse regulated area. In the R2 district, under section 6 of the Inland Wetland Watercourse Agency Regulations of the City of West Haven. Owners: Kathleen Fisher & Denise Blake/ Applicant Baybrook Remodelers INC. File # 008-21 IW Scott Farquahson, Baybrook Remodelers, is representing the owners tonight. The proposal is to construct a four season enclosed porch within the wetland review area. This is an addition on an existing 12’ x 14’ deck. There will be change to footprint. A silt fence will be installed before construction. The porch will be 46’ away from the lake. Commissioner Kane visited the site and it is far enough away from the water. He suggests maintaining a barrier such as the silt fencing as mentioned. Three calls were made to speak in favor and three calls were made to speak in opposition to this application. Commissioner Perrone made a motion to close the public hearing, seconded by Commissioner Gilbane and passed. Commissioner Beecher made a motion to approve File #008-21 IW, seconded by Commissioner Gilbane and passed. Staff Reports – No new applications as of now. Other Business – Ms. Conniff suggested having a training and learning course.
