In the Harriett North Room 2nd floor at 6:30 P.M. PRESENT: Commissioners Kane, Braithwaite, Perrone, ZEO Hotchkiss and Assistant Planner Conniff. Absent were Commissioners Beecher and Carr. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Commissioner Perrone made a motion to approve the meeting minutes of May 16, 2023, seconded by Commissioner Braithwaite and passed. ACCEPTANCE: 31 Woody Lane: The applicant is seeking to construct a 40’x 34’ two story dwelling in the inland wetland upland review area only under Section 72 City of West Haven Inland Wetland Watercourse and Open Space regulations. Owner: Country Hill Development LLC/ Applicant: Anthony Cordone. File # 021-23 IW Anthony Cordone, West Haven, was present. Commissioner Kane stated this is just an acceptance meeting and at the next meeting details will be presented. This is a vacant lot. Commissioner Braithwaite made a motion to accept File #020-23 IW, seconded by Commissioner Perrone and passed. Railroad Avenue/ Frontage Road Sidewalk: An application to install a 1.3+ mile pedestrian and bike safety corridor, including sidewalks and bike lanes with associated ramps, bituminous concrete lip curbing, and drainage in Light Manufacturing and Transit Oriented Design zones from the West Haven train station to the Yale West Campus located at 900 W. Campus Drive. This project will directly impact 470sf of wetlands, a total of 18,237sf within the upland review setback area, and 5,560sf within the watercourse setback area. Under Section 72 of the City of West Haven Inland Wetland Watercourse and Open Space regulations. Owner/ Applicant: City of West Haven File #020-23 IW Ms. Conniff is representing the city in this application. This path will be from West Campus down to the train station. Next month all information will be presented by the City Engineer. Commissioner Perrone made a motion to accept File #020-23IW, seconded by Commissioner Braithwaite and passed.
