LEGISLATIVE MEETING WEST MIFFLIN BOROUGH COUNCIL May 17, 2023 6:30 P.M. Public Hearings Conditional use request for Air Star Transportation and Limousine Service to operate their business at 929 Lebanon Road. CASE # PLC 23-03 Air Star Transportation and Limousine Service. Conditional use request for SBA Communications Corporation to place a (COW) Cell on wheels at property owned by the Clairton Gun club parcel # 469-M-100-01 412 Coal Valley Road. CASE # PLC 23-04 SBA Communications Corporation. 1. Call to Order 2. Moment of Silent Prayer 3. Pledge of Allegiance 4. Roll Call 5. Citizen Comments on Agenda Items Only: All citizens who wish to make comments or remarks on agenda items numbered 6, 7 or 14 will be granted three minutes. 6. Motion to approve the minutes of the April 18, 2023, Legislative Meeting. 7. Unfinished Business Requiring Official Action: A. Motion to approve Amendment to Agreement with Cargill, Inc., for a time extension to purchase remaining Rock Salt, Amendment will extend existing contract until December 31, 2023. B. Motion to approve Memorandum of Understanding between the Borough of West Mifflin and the West Mifflin Area School District; This Memorandum of Understanding is being developed pursuant to Act 26 of 1995, Section 1303 (c), in order to establish the procedures to be followed when an incident occurs involving an act of violence or possession of a weapon on school property. C. Motion to approve Fourth Amendment to Lease, between the Borough of West Mifflin and UPMC Visiting Nurses, for lease of 12,650 retable square feet located in Suite 300 of 1020 Lebanon Road, West Mifflin. Amendment extends lease for a length of one (1) year, to end April 30, 2024. D. Motion to approve bid from Two Men and a Striper, LLC for low bid to convert and refinish old basketball court at the Community Park to a pickleball court at a cost of $12,725.00. 8 Departmental Reports a.
