NOTICE OF MEETING COMMITTEE OR BOARD: WEST SALEM AREA ROOM TAX COMMISSION DATE OF MEETING: THURSDAY, AUGUST 7, 2025 PLACE OF MEETING: WEST SALEM COMMUNITY CENTER MEETING ROOM TIME OF MEETING: 5:00 P.M. PURPOSE OF MEETING:  Update on YTD revenues and expenditures  Update on Downtown Bike Trail Business Sign, Directional Signage around Community, water fountains, and Pickleball project  Discuss consideration of request from Heider Center  Discuss a “grant” process where local businesses/organizations can submit requests to assist with advertising expenses for events  Discuss consideration of installing flat rock steps at the tip of Lewis Point OTHER AGENDA: Any other official business that may arise subsequent to this Notice. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that members of the Board of Trustees of the Village of West Salem who do not serve on the Committee may attend this meeting to gather information about a subject over which they have decision-making responsibility. Therefore, further notice is hereby given that the above meeting may constitute a meeting of the Board of Trustees and is hereby noticed as such, even though it is not contemplated that the Village Board will take any formal action at this meeting.
