An Electronic Regular Meeting of the West Valley City Council will be held on Tuesday, August
10, 2010, at 6:30 PM, in the City Council Chambers, West Valley City Hall, 3600 Constitution
Boulevard, West Valley City, Utah. Members of the press and public are invited to attend. (One
or more members of the City Council may participate in the meeting via telephone.)

6. Comment Period
(The comment period is limited to 30 minutes. Any person wishing to comment shall limit their
comments to five minutes. Any person wishing to comment during the comment period shall
request recognition by the Mayor. Upon recognition, the citizen shall approach the microphone.
All comments shall be directed to the Mayor. No person addressing the City Council during the
comment period shall be allowed to comment more than once during that comment period.
Speakers should not expect any debate or dialogue with the Mayor, City Council or City Staff.)

A. Accept Public Input Regarding the Final Budget for Fiscal Year 2010-2011
Action: Consider Resolution No. 10-150, Adopting a Final Budget; Making
Appropriations for the Support of West Valley City for the Fiscal Year Beginning
July 1, 2010 and Ending June 30, 2011; and Determining the Rate of Tax and
Levying Taxes Upon all Real and Personal Property Within West Valley City,
Utah, Taxable by law for the Year 2010
B. Accept Public Input Regarding the Police Department's Application for a
Department of Justice Programs Justice Assistance Grant (JAG)
Action: Consider Resolution No. 10-155, Authorizing the West Valley City
Police Department to Apply for a Justice Assistance Grant (J.A.G.) Through the
U.S. Department of Justice Programs
8. Resolutions:
A. 10-151: Approve the Purchase of a Tymco 600 Sweeper from Intermountain
Sweeper for use by the Public Works Department
B. 10-156: Authorize Change Order No. 1 to the Contract with Rydalch Electric,
Inc. for the EECBG Lighting Retrofit Project

A. Reso. 10-152: Approve Right-of-Way Agreement with Thomas Michael
Mansfield for Property Located at 2711 South 7200 West, and Accept a Warranty
