Village of Westhampton Beach Board of Trustees Meeting Friday June 17, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. Authorize Additional Holiday WHEREAS, the Village and its employees are parties to collective bargaining agreements that are currently or will soon be negotiated; and WHEREAS, the Village and the unions have agreed to amend their CBAs to add the observation of Juneteenth as a holiday in the year 2022 only and, WHEREAS, the Village’s designated holidays observed by non-union civilian employees are typically identical to those included in the CBAs; and now therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Village Board of Trustees hereby amends the Village's contractually designated observed holidays for the year 2022 only, to include Juneteenth, which shall be observed on Monday, June 20th.
