SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES CITY OF WESTMINSTER Mayor and Common Council Special Meeting August 24, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. 45 West Main Street, Westminster, MD 21157 CALL TO ORDER Elected Officials Present: Mayor Becker, Councilmember Chiavacci, Councilmember Dayhoff, Councilmember Gilbert, Councilmember Hoff, and President Pecoraro. Staff Present: City Clerk Barber, Deputy Director of Public Works Dick, and City Administrator Imhulse. Guests: Mr.Graham Dodge (MAGIC), Ms. Vickie Mazer (McDaniel College), Mr. David Patterson (MAGIC), Mr. Mark Richman (InnoVative Capital), and Ms. Vickie Slinkman (Ting) . President Pecoraro opened the Special Meeting at 10:04 a.m. PRESENTATION Esports Arena Mr. Graham Dodge, Executive Director of MAGIC presented the concept of an Esports Arena Westminster. The Mayor and Common Council listened and asked questions of clarification on the concept. ADJOURNMENT President Pecoraro adjourned the meeting at 11:15 a.m. Respectfully Submitted, Douglass A.
