CITY OF WESTMINSTER BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS MEETING SUMMARY Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at 6 PM City Hall, 1838 Emerald Hill Lane A meeting of the City of Westminster Board of Zoning Appeals was held at City Hall, located at 1838 Emerald Hill Lane in Westminster, Maryland 21157, on October 4, 2016, at 6 PM. Chair Ed Cramer, Board Member Larry Berent, and Board Member Ken Bonner were present. Board Attorney Eric Blitz and City staff Bill Mackey were present. Ms. Tina Mawhinney, Mr. Rick Mawhinney and Mr. Steve Lawrence signed the sign-in sheet. At 6:00 PM, Chair Cramer called the meeting to order. Board Member Berent moved to approve the meeting summary of October 4, 2016. Board Member Bonner seconded. The motion passed unanimously. At 6:01 PM, Chair Cramer opened the public hearing on Case No. 16-06, an application by FR Conversions Inc., requesting approval of a special exception for a proposed restaurant and lunchroom, without drive-through service use at 1231 Tech Court, Westminster, pursuant to Article X: I-R Restricted Industrial, Section 164-54.A, Special Exceptions, of the City Code. Mr. Mackey requested a continuance of the public hearing to a date certain on behalf of the City. The date of another continued item was mentioned as scheduled for December 6, 2016. Board Member Bonner moved for continuance to November 1, 2016, at 6 PM in City Hall. Board Member Berent seconded. The motion passed unanimously. The Board adjourned at 6:03 PM.
