CITY OF WESTMINSTER PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING SUMMARY December 8, 2016, at 7 PM City Hall, 1838 Emerald Hill Lane A meeting of the City of Westminster Planning and Zoning Commission was held at City Hall, 1838 Emerald Hill Lane in Westminster, Maryland 21157, on December 8, 2016, at 7 PM. Chair Peggy Bair, Commissioner Kevin Beaver and Commissioner Thomas J. Rio were present. City staff Bill Mackey was present. Carroll County Planning Liaison and Comprehensive Planner Scott Graf was present. Chair Peggy Bair opened the meeting at 7:01PM. Commissioner Beaver moved approval ofthe meeting summary for November 17, 2016. Commissioner Rio seconded. The motion passed. Chair Peggy Bair opened New Business. Carroll County Liaison Scott Graf announced that the review of the Carroll County Bike and Pedestrian Master Plan is beginning. The second online survey for local cyclists would be closing at the end of December. Finally, the review of town maps and concluding the Freedom Plan are other ongoing Carroll County planning efforts for next year. Chair indicated that proposed PZC Rules would be deferred until May, and the proposed 2009 Comprehensive Plan review would be deferred until all Commission members were present. Chair noted that Board Elections were already held and completed on November 17, 2016. There were no Commissioner Comments. Commissioner Rio made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Beaver seconded. The Commission adjourned at 7:14p.m. Adopted on January 12, 2017
