PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING SUMMARY Thursday, April 29, 2021, at 7:00 PM Virtual Meeting via Zoom and broadcasted live on the City Facebook Page Westminster, Maryland 21157 A special meeting of the Westminster Planning and Zoning Commission was held virtually via Zoom and broadcasted live on the City Facebook Page, on April 29, 2021, at 7 PM. Chair Ross Albers, Vice-Chair Lyndi McNulty, and Commissioner Tiombe Paige were present. City staff members Lydia Colston, Andrew Gray, and Samantha Schlitzer were also present. Chair Albers opened the meeting at 7:00 PM. Chair Albers requested a motion to approve the meeting summary from April 8, 2021. Chair Albers motioned to approve the meeting summary. Vice-Chair McNulty seconded. The motion passed 3-0. Chair Albers opened New Business Item A – FY22 Capital Budget presentation pursuant to Section 20-4D. of the City Code. Ms. Colston presented the Capital Improvements Program budget for Fiscal Year 2022 and reviewed the major cost items by fund. Vice-Chair McNulty requested staff look into providing funds for the Historical Society of Carroll County in support of its initiatives throughout Westminster. Chair Albers opened Planning Commission and Public Comments. Mr. Gray reminded the Commission that its yearly elections would be during the upcoming May meeting.
