Fire/EMS Chief Finke gave an update on the upcoming Country Fest and Rock Fest coverage that SAFER provides. SAFER will be renting out the UTV to the festival, it will be used by our Fire/EMS crew. 21. Parks & Recreation Osterbrink gave a brief update on the aquatic center and park rentals. The leak at the aquatic center was isolated to the supply line at the south end of the play structure. 22. Plan/Dev No comments 23. Police Chief Schulz gave an update on a burglary suspect, armed robbery suspect, and warrant arrest from Reno, NV they have all been arrested and are in custody. 24. Public Works Wodalski gave a brief update on the grants that have been submitted. A Public Works operator position has been posted and the Village is currently recruiting new applicants. 25. Finance committee requested information on how using ARPA funds for capitol improvements rather than borrowing would impact tax rate. Hartinger spoke about using ARPA funds for the Strategic plan and using some of the money for park projects including some security projects that can give back to the community. Weiland said the Finance committee also talked about using ARPA funds for the Successor of Village Administrator.
