Discussion and/or action on Playground Proposals (on recording https://youtu.be/LxzC34CU9rg?t=138) Discussion was held with Osterbrink explaining the different quotes received from Gametime, Burke and Landscape Structures. Parks and Recreation met and discussed the proposals. ARPA funding will be used towards the playground equipment. There are some contingencies on the quotes as far as time is concerned, and that a decision must be made prior to the end of November to use some of the quotes provided. The decision was made to use a concrete border around the play structures. The Village would be removing the old play structures. Motion by Cronin, second by Hartinger to award the contract to any one of the three companies for a dollar amount not to exceed $800,000 with the work being done in 2024 to whoever comes in at the lowest bid doing all seven structures at the same time. ARPA funds will be used.
