Monday, March 7, 2022 Wetumpka City Administrative Building 6:00 p.m. Work Session: Citizen Comments: (Ordinance 2016-8) None Reports of: Boards and Committees Agenda Items Council Meeting Monday, March 7, 2022 Wetumpka City Administrative Building 6:02 p.m. The Council of the City of Wetumpka held a work session prior to the 6:00 p.m. council meeting held on Monday, March 7, 2022. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Jerry Willis at 6:02 pm. Councilmember Tucker led the invocation and Councilmember Justiss led the Pledge of Allegiance. Upon a Roll Call the following were present: Mayor Jerry Willis and Councilmembers Cheryl Tucker, Kevin Robbins, Lynnes Justiss, Steve Gantt and Joe Brown were in attendance. Also present were City Clerk Tiffany Robinson and other staff members. Councilmember Justiss offered a motion to approve the minutes of the Council Meeting held of February 22, 2022 as presented. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Gantt with the Council voting unanimously in favor of the motion. Under old business, Councilmember Tucker made a motion to approve the installation of a telephone line at the Black History Museum with a price of $150 to install and $50 per month. Councilmember Brown seconded the motion with the Council voting unanimously in favor. Taking action on the Splashpad will carry over to another meeting when more information is gathered. There was no new business. Upon a motion by Councilmember Gantt, the meeting was adjourned at 6:05 p.m. Approved by Council on the _______ day of ___________, 2022.
