General Manager; Mike Milne, Code Enforcement Supervisor; Kirk Boyington, Chief Building Official; Trent Sorensen, Daniel Hoffman, Senior Accountant, Matt Starley, Long Range Planner; and Sam Taylor, Landmark ; Ralph Stephens, Engineer Mayor Perry called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m. WELCOME – Brian Hartsell, Assistant General Manager Brian Hartsell discussed the role of the Greater Salt Lake Municipal Services District with the member cities. CODE ENFORCEMENT - Mike Milne, Code Enforcement Supervisor; Kirk Boyington, Chief Building Official Mike Milne and Kirk Boyington discussed code enforcement and the processes they have in place to deal with code violations. GENERAL PLAN & CITY STRATEGY – Daniele Benigni, Long Range Planner I; Matt Starley, Interim Long Range Planner Manager Matt Starley, Sam Taylor, and Daniele Benigni presented on land use and long-range planning processes and procedures. PLACE TO DO CITY BUSINESS Mayor Perry and the Council discussed the possibility of finding a building to do city business, hold monthly meetings, and have a place for the police to reside and hold evidence. White City Council Meeting Minutes – Page 1 They also discussed the possibility of having an all-weather pavilion for the community. ENGINEERING – Richard Stephans, MSD Engineer Richard Stephans discussed the role Engineering plays in the Municipal Services District. He discussed capital projects and how they are determined and scheduled for completion. FINANCE – Daniel Hoffman, Senior Accountant Daniel Hoffman gave a brief presentation on the Finance department and how they assist White City.
