Mayor’s Advisory Committee For People With Disabilities Agenda For August 6, 2014 Meeting Common Council Room 1-712-432-3100 Code: 428761 I. Introductions (15 minutes): We will be joined by new committee members: Harriet Lowell, Gilbert Mercurio & Matthew Ravick. II. Project Access (15 minutes): WILC received a grant from White Plains to implement Project Access, an accessible and affordable housing resource for White Plains residents with disabilities and seniors. III. Discussion of Wellness Week (9/14-9/22) (10 minutes) III. Update On Accessible Taxicabs (5 minutes) IV. Update On Building Project (5 minutes): We are going to do the final build at Trinity in October. Volunteer New York and Home Depot will be contributing and replacing Habitat’s role on this project. V. Report on Mental Health Association of Westchester County’s Yoga Event (5 minutes). VI. Other Issues & Schedule Next Meeting (5 minutes)
