Smayda The Special Meeting of the Common Council called for Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at five thirty o'clock in the evening in the Common Council Chamber, Municipal Building. Mayor Roach presiding and the following Members present: Mrs. Hunt-Robinson, Mr. Kirkpatrick, Mr. Krolian, Mrs. Lecuona, Mr. Martin, Mrs. Smayda. ________ The Special Meeting was called to consider an ordinance authorizing the settlement of the action of Daniel Behan and Anne Behan against the City of White Plains, and to discuss: Cabaret Municipal Code Provisions; Westchester Avenue Project/Scope, and Capital Projects: Maple Avenue Storm Water Drain, Phase II, Prisoner Processing Area Renovations, Local Controller Upgrade Phase I, Brookfield Commons Sanitary Sewer Line, Miscellaneous Street Reconstruction FY 2015. ________ Mr. Martin moved adoption of the following ordinance. AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SETTLEMENT OF THE ACTION OF DANIEL BEHAN AND ANNE BEHAN AGAINST THE CITY OF WHITE PLAINS. The Common Council of the City of White Plains ordains and enacts as follows: Section 1. The settlement of the action of Daniel Behan and Anne Behan against the City of White Plains in the amount of sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000.00) is hereby authorized. Section 2. The Mayor is authorized to direct the Commissioner of Finance to pay the sum of sixty-five The Common Council of the City of White Plains ordains and enacts as follows: Section 1. The settlement of the action of Daniel Behan and Anne Behan against the City of White Plains in the amount of sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000.00) is hereby authorized. Section 2. The Mayor is authorized to direct the Commissioner of Finance to pay the sum of sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000.00) from the City's Self-Insurance Fund. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately. Mrs. Hunt-Robinson seconded the motion. Adopted by the following roll call vote: Mrs. Hunt-Robinson, Mr. Kirkpatrick, Mr. Krolian, Mrs. Lecuona, Mr. Martin, Mrs. Smayda and the Mayor - 7 - 0. ________ The Special Meeting continued with discussion as follows: Cabaret Municipal Code Provisions; Westchester Avenue Project/Scope, and Capital Projects: Maple Avenue Storm Water Drain, Phase II, Prisoner Processing Area Renovations, Local Controller Upgrade Phase I, Brookfield Commons Sanitary Sewer Line, Miscellaneous Street Reconstruction FY 2015. ________ On motion of Council President Martin, seconded and duly carried, the Common Council adjourned the meeting. ________ Anne M.
