Smayda A Special Meeting of the Common Council held Monday, March 27, 2017 called for six o'clock in the evening in the Common Council Chamber. Mayor Roach presiding and the following members present: Mrs. Hunt Robinson, Mr. Krolian, Mrs. Lecuona, and Mrs. Smayda. Absent: Mr. Kirkpatrick and Mr. Martin. This Special Meeting was for the purpose of considering an ordinance to employ Special Counsel in relation to a hearing pursuant to Section 41.34 of the Mental Hygiene Law in the matter of the Institutes of Applied Human Dynamics and the City of White Plains, and to discuss the following matters: Tibbits Park Improvements and Municipal Parking Lot Rehabilitation; Library Plaza Improve- ments; Training Drill Tower. Communication received from Corporation Counsel. Mrs. Lecuona moved that it/they be filed and spread in full upon the minutes. Mrs. Hunt-Robinson seconded the motion. 806 COMMON COUNCIL MINUTES March 27, 2017 Carried. TO THE HONORABLE MAYOR AND MEMBERS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHITE PLAINS Submitted herewith for your consideration is an ordinance authorizing the Corporation Counsel to employ special counsel to provide services relating to a Hearing pursuant to Section 41.34 of the Mental Hygiene Law in the Matter of the Institutes of Applied Human Dynamics and the City of White Plains, in an amount not to exceed $30,000. _____________________________________ John G. Callahan Corporation Counsel Dated: March 24, 2017 (For the Common Council Meeting of March 27, 2017) Mrs. Lecuona offered only an ordinance entitled, "Ordinance of the Common Council of the City of White Plains authorizing the Corporation Counsel to employ Special Counsel in relation to a hearing pursuant to Section 41.34 of the Mental Hygiene Law in the matter of the Institutes of Applied Human Dynamics and the City of White Plains". The Special Meeting continued with discussion as follows: Tibbits Park Improvements and Municipal Parking Lot Rehabilitation; Library Plaza Improve- ments; Training Drill Tower.
