COMMON COUNCIL AGENDA SPECIAL MEETING DECEMBER 16, 2018 8:30 AM SECOND READING ORDINANCES: 1. Communication from Commissioner of Public Works in relation to amendments to a previously approved ordinance in relation to the Winterfest event to be held Wednesday, December 19, 2019 through December 23, 2018, to extend the time of the street closure and to permit cooking and alcoholic beverages as part of the Winterfest event. 2. Ordinance amending an ordinance entitled, “An ordinance of the Common Council of the City of White Plains authorizing the closure of Court Street between Main Street and Martine Avenue from December 18 through December 24, 2018 for the Fourth Annual Winterfest” adopted on October 1, 2018. 3. Communication from Commissioner of Recreation and Parks in relation to a non- exclusive license agreement with Bensidoun USA, Inc., to be the operator of the Winterfest event to be located on Court Street between Main and Martine Avenue, and which will commence on December 19, 2018 through December 23, 2018. 4. Ordinance of the Common Council of the City of White Plains authorizing the Mayor or his designee to enter into a license between the City of White Plains and Bensidoun USA, Inc., for the purposes of operating a Winterfest event on real property owned by the City.
