Absent: Mr. Kirkpatrick As authorized by the Governor's Executive Order No. 202.1 as extended, one or more members of the Common Council may attend this meeting by conference call or similar service. Due to the public health emergency and the order to limit gatherings and the spread of COVID-19, the meeting will be closed to in person attendance by the public. The meeting will be aired live on the White Plains Cable Access Channels (Channel 75 on Altice and Channel 47 on FIOS) streamed on the City's website(http://whiteplainsny.swagit.com/live) This Special Meeting of the Common Council was called to adopt three resolutions authorizing the acquisition of three separate properties along East Post Road. 548 COMMONCOUNCILMINUTES March 23,2021 Communication from Corporation Counsel Mr. Martin moved that it/they be filed and spread in full upon the minutes. Mrs. Hunt-Robinson seconded the motion. Carried. TOTHEHONORABLEMAYORANDMEMBERSOFTHECOMMONCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHITEPLAINS On March 18, 2021 the White Plains Urban Renewal Agency adopted three resolutions authorizing the acquisition of three separate properties along East Post Road. Resolution 05-2021 authorized the acquisition of title to property located at 26-28 East Post Road, White Plains, NewYork.Resolution 06-2021 authorized the acquisition of title to property located at 60 East Post Road, White Plains, NewYork.Resolution 07-2021 authorized the acquisition of title to property located at 42 East Post Road, White Plains, NewYork. General Municipal Law Section 555 requires the Common Council to hold a public hearing prior to approving acquisitions proposed by the White Plains Urban Renewal Agency. Accordingly, a resolution scheduling a public hearing, to be held on April 5, 2021, for each of the aforementioned acquisitions are submitted herewith for your consideration. John G. RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHITE PLAINS SCHEDULING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR APRIL 5, 2021 TO CONSIDER APPROVAL OF THE PROPOSED ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY KNOWN AS 26- 28 EAST POST ROAD BY THE WHITE PLAINS URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY. RESOLVED, that a public hearing to consider approval of the proposed acquisition of property known as 26-28 East Post Road by the White Plains Urban Renewal Agency, will be held before the Common Council on April 5, 2021, at 7:30 p.m., in the Common Council Chamber, Municipal Building, 255 Main Street, White Plains, New York; and be it further RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is directed to give notice of said public hearing. Mr. Brasch seconded the motion. Carried. March 23, 2021 COMMON COUNCIL MINUTES 549 Mrs. Hunt-Robinson moved adoption of the following resolution. RESOLVED, that a public hearing to consider the approval of the proposed acquisition of property known as 60 East Post Road by the White Plains Urban Renewal Agency, will be held before the Common Council on April 5, 2021, at 7:30 p.m., in the Common Council Chamber, Municipal Building, 255 Main Street, White Plains, New York; and be it further RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is directed to give notice of said public hearing. Mr. Martin seconded the motion. Carried. Mrs. Hunt-Robinson moved adoption of the following resolution. RESOLVED, that a public hearing to consider approval of the proposed acquisition of property known as 42 East Post Road by the White Plains Urban Renewal Agency, will be held before the Common Council on April 5, 2021, at 7:30 p.m., in the Common Council Chamber, Municipal Building, 255 Main Street, White Plains, New York; and be it further RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is directed to give notice of said public hearing.
