WHITEFISH ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE MINUTES August 17, 2021 The meeting was called to order by Shane Jacobs at 8:17 AM PRESENT: Christine Bleyhl, Stacy Caldwell, Shane Jacobs, Diane Kane, Tracy Rossi ABSENT: Leslie Lowe, Paul McElroy STAFF: Wendy Compton-Ring PUBLIC COMMENT: none MINUTES: The minutes from August 3, 2021 were unanimously approved. OLD BUSINESS 1940 Suncrest Drive, duplex (ARC 21-27) The applicant described the project, its location, the site plan and materials. The purpose of the different type of roofs between the two units is for the installation of solar panels on the southern unit with a parapet to screen the solar panels. Bottom level will be a board formed concrete. Canopies to be flatter in nature. Tracy – the corner count is OK – 8 (counting inside corners) Motion: Christine – moved to approve as submitted Diane – 2nd Discussion: none Vote: motion passes unanimously NEW BUSINESS none OTHER ITEMS • Pre-Ap, 4 Miles Avenue, condos, Ken Huff. Described the project, its location, and the site plan. 10-units: 5 upstairs and 5 downstairs. Described some of the materials. The Committee discussed the importance of landscaping, the garage-forward standards. Tracy – likes the direction it is going 1  Christine – it will be good to see the physical samples. Yes, once the project has an approved Administrative CUP • Riverside Plaza, Frannie Becker, 100 E 2nd Street (ARC 21-21) – swap stucco color for main body color Christine – the color change will be better Stacy – make a motion to approve unless someone drives by and thinks it isn’t OK Motion: Stacy – moves to approve pending everyone driving by to take a look and email staff if not OK Christine – 2nd Discussion: none Vote: motion passes unanimously • Tree Preservation During Construction – continue until the next meeting • HYBRID MEETINGS: Staff let the Committee know we can do hybrid for committee members for now, but the applicants will need to bring in their materials and attend in person.
