AGENDA Climate Action Plan Standing Committee Regular Meeting April 17, 2024 The regular meeting of the Climate Action Plan Standing Committee will be held on Wednesday, the 17th of April, 2024 at 3:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers Conference Room at City Hall, 415 East 2nd Street. A. Call to Order – Committee Chair Robin Paone B. Approval of Minutes from March 20, 2024 Meeting. Robin has decided to step down as committee chair. We will be electing a new chair. At the last meeting Nathan Dugan was elected as vice-chair. Liz Records was elected as the committee secretary. C. Communications/Outreach/Education – Possible future discussion topics. Electrification of transportation in GNP, Jami Belt. Renewable Diesel with Jesse Therien of Yellowstone-Teton Clean Cities. Alyssa Wilbur’s CAP review and recommendations. D. Project Updates • Existing Projects o Community Solar Project –$495,535 REAP grant awarded by USDA. o Transit Update - Proposed Flathead Commuter Route - Mobility Platform/Transit MOU o FY 25 city budget process related to CAP committee  Retro-commissioning of ESC Building – Getting bids this spring.  Public Works EV charging, no funding for new Public Works vehicle. EV charging at Depot Park – coordinate with Ashley @ FEC. o C-PACE status – Provide info on city website. Provide link to C-PACE info under Sustainability webpage. o Safe Streets for All (SS4A) Plan – June 4th Event o Mountain Towns 2030 Collaboration and Summit Update o ICLEI update – Alyssa to review WF CAP o Recycling Recommendations – continuation of March 20th meeting discussion • Upcoming Events and Proposed Projects o April 20th Earth Day Expo o April 30th Weatherization & Electrification Workshop at City Hall o The Montana DEQ Climate Pollution Reduction Plan update o Columbia U.
