~~ V'8 W.HIT&FISH c.ommun1T¥· - - LIBRARY - - WHITEFISH COMMUNITY LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES MINUTES OF MEETING ON FEBRUARY 12, 2020 WHITEFISH COMMUNITY LIBRARY, 9 SPOKANE AVE Trustees Present: Anne Moran, Chair; Representative; Kris Lierboe, Trustee; Sarah Ericson, Tamarack Federation Representative; Trevor Gonser, Trustee-in-Training Others present: Joey Kositzky, Director; Angela Jacobs, City Attorney Not Present: Mary Vail, Treasurer, Cheryl Hyland 1) CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. 2) COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC: None 3) DIRECTOR'S REPORT OLD BUSINESS: a) Approve the January 8, 2020 Board of Trustees' meeting minutes MOTION: Trustee Ericson made a motion to approve the January 8, 2020 Board of Trustees meeting minutes. Trustee Lierboe seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. b) Approve the January 22, 2020 Board of Trustees' Special Meeting minutes Page 2 Board of Trustees' Minutes February 12, 2020 MOTION: Trustee Erickson made a motion to approve the January 22, 2020 Board of Trustees' Special Meeting minutes. Trustee Lierboe seconded the motion . Motion passed unanimously. Chair Moran tabled the original agenda to introduce Angela Jacobs. Ms. Jacobs reviewed the meeting between Director Kositzky, Heidi Roedel, Noel Nightingale, Mark Vitale and herself regarding OCR (Office of Civil Rights) web accessibility. MOTION: Ericson made a motion to move forward to attempt to negotiate a voluntary resolution With the Department of Education (DOE) and OCR. Lierboe seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. c) Remodeling Update Lierboe gave a brief summary on the meeting with Director Kositzky. Lierboe passed out preliminary floor plans for remodeling the storage area to accommodate an office. Additional information will be presented at a future meeting. d) Other old business None Chair Moran tabled the rest of the agenda as Lierboe needed to leave the meeting resulting in a lack of quorum . e) Next Meeting Date The next meeting will be March 11 , 2020 ; April 14, 2020 at 7pm.
