1) CALL TO ORDER
Brian Schott called the meeting to order. Members present were Liz Colley, Steve Kane, Mark Piscoli, Nick
Polumbus, Mariah Joos and Michelle Howke. Heather Cauffman and Elle Kobelt were absent. Julie Mullens,
Executive Director of Explore Whitefish was also in attendance.
2) APPROVAL OF JUNE 20, 2023, MINUTES
Mark made a motion, seconded by Mariah to approve the June 20, 2023, minutes.
3) REVIEW STMP CONSULTANT CONTRACT
The committee reviewed the contract scope of work with Applied Communications. The community survey
was pulled from the Scope since Explore Whitefish will be able to facilitate the survey. The total cost of the
contract is $12,000 which will be split evenly between the City and WCVB.
4) RESIDENT SURVEY
The Committee reviewed and made changes to the resident survey that will go live on August 1st and will
run through September 15th. Brian will work on a press release and the survey will be sent to the Chamber of
Commerce, included in the Explore Whitefish Newsletter, water utility bills, the City’s website, and social
media platforms.
5) TOWN HALL MEETING
The Town Hall meeting is scheduled for October 24, 2023, from 3:30 – 5:00 pm at 101 Central Avenue.
6) GNP CIVIC ENGAGEMENT
Glacier National Park will hold a town hall meeting in the Fall to engage residents about the park vehicle
pass program.
7) PUBLIC COMMENT
None
8) ADJOURN
Brian adjourned the meeting at 3:20 pm.
