Golf Board of Governors Regular Meeting Minutes Tuesday, January 20, 2026 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. Auburn Hills Golf Course Wichita KS 67235 Item Description Call to Order Mike Jordan called the meeting to order at approximately 4:05 p.m. Public Comments Announcements • Staff provided updates on offseason operations and winter course conditions. Play and revenue remain strong despite weather variability. • MemberSports POS implementation remains on schedule. Staff training and data migration are ongoing in preparation for the February go-live date. • Irrigation design planning continues for approved course improvement projects. • Early season tournament registrations are pacing ahead of prior year. Approve minutes Mike motioned to approve meeting minutes from last board meeting on 10/21. Randy seconded. Continuation of Prior Business MemberSports POS Implementation • Continued discussion regarding timeline, staff training, reporting capabilities, and league integration. • Board reviewed communication plans for members and the public prior to launch. League Structure Adjustments • Follow-up discussion on league definitions and booking privileges approved at the previous meeting. • Staff preparing communication rollout prior to March 1 implementation. Financial Update • Year-end 2025 financials remain strong, with Golf Wichita finishing significantly ahead of prior year revenues. • CART Fund and Project Fund balances remain healthy and positioned for 2026 capital improvements. • Discussion included allocation planning for upcoming irrigation and equipment needs. Marketing & Membership Growth • Strategies discussed for growing junior programming, league participation, and offseason engagement. New Business • Planning for spring tournaments and season kickoff events underway. • Board discussed strengthening partnerships and sponsorship engagement for 2026 events. • Continued emphasis on improving pace of play and public tee time access heading into peak season.
