Board of Aldermen Meeting

CITY OF WILLARD BOARD OF ALDERMEN SPECIAL MEETING SEPTEMBER 22, 2009 12:00 P.M. Board present: Mayor Jamie Schoolcraft, Aldermen Richard Simpson, Aldermen Doug Johnson, Aldermen Pat Lloyd, Aldermen Paul Hood, Aldermen Louie Amodeo, and Aldermen Bryan Vincent. Also in attendance: Deputy City Clerk, Kate Gould; City Clerk, Dale Duvall; Director of Development, Randy Brown; CFO, Karen Robson Mayor Schoolcraft called the meeting to order. Roll Call City Clerk, Dale Duvall called roll call-Aldermen Richard Simpson-present; Aldermen Doug Johnson-present; Aldermen Pat Lloyd-present; Mayor Schoolcraft-present; Aldermen Paul Hood-present; Aldermen Louie Amodeo-present; Aldermen Bryan Vincent-present. Loan Resolution The Board discussed the loan resolution that is to be a 5.75% interest only loan with a balloon payment of $200,000.00 in one year. Aldermen Lloyd stated that he wanted to express that he recognizes the urgency of this loan and that he would like to challenge the Board and the City staff to handle the budget as efficiently as they can. Aldermen Hood stated that he would really like the City be more conservative in the next fiscal year. Motion made by Aldermen Lloyd with second by Aldermen Johnson to approve the loan resolution. ORDINANCE NO. 09-23 BILL NO. 090922 ORDINANCE APPROVING A MUNICIPAL CODE AMENDMENT TO SECTIONS 500.030A, 500.030B, 500.360A, 500.360C AND 500.360D OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF WILLARD PERTAINING TO BUILDING INSPECTIONS. 1st Read was conducted by City Clerk, Dale Duvall. Motion made by Aldermen Lloyd with second by Aldermen Johnson to approve the 1st read.
