Planning and Zoning Meeting

CITY OF WILLARD PLANNING & ZONING JANUARY 22ND, 2008 7:00 P.M. Commission members present: Mayor Jamie Schoolcraft; Chairmen Dale Duvall; Vice Chairmen Valorie Simpson; Executive Secretary, Lucille Murray; Aldermen Charlie Gugel; and Bradley Dalton. Robert Taylor was not present. Also in attendance: City Clerk, Kathy Blakemore; Director of Development, Randy Brown; Director of Public Works, Charlie Jones; and City Attorney, Doug Harpool. Guest present: David Gardner with Excalibur Engineering. Chairmen, Dale Duvall called the meeting to order. Agenda Amendments/Approval of agenda Motion made by Valorie Simpson with second by Lucille Murray to approve the agenda. All votes yes. Motion carried. Minutes 11/27/07 Vice Chairmen, Valorie Simpson stated that on page one (1) of the November 27th, 2007 minutes there needed to be a correction. (Vice Chairmen Valorie Simpson called the meeting to order instead of Mayor Jamie Schoolcraft). Motion made by Lucille Murray with second by Mayor Jamie Schoolcraft to approve the minutes of the November 27th, 2007 with the correction listed above. All votes yes. Motion carried. West Ridge Subdivision Preliminary Development Plan David Gardner with Excalibur Engineering spoke in favor of West Ridge Subdivision. Archer Engineering and Director of Development Randy Brown recommend approval of the West Ridge Subdivision Preliminary Development Plan. Motion made by Mayor Jamie Schoolcraft with second by Lucille Murray to recommend to the Board of Aldermen that West Ridge Subdivision Preliminary Development Plan be approved. All votes yes. Motion carried. Citizen input None Old Business None Motion made by Lucille Murray with second by Mayor Jamie Schoolcraft to adjourn meeting. All votes yes. Motion carried.
