Saturday, July 15 – 14th Annual Garden Walk & Mini-Fairy Garden Contest & Mini-Fairy Parade Garden Walk + Beautification Committees + WBA Kick-off meeting is April 20 at 6:30pm at Village Hall. 2. Main Street in Bloom Project – Garden Walk + Beautification Committee + WBA. – “Blooming” Main St. businesses + Golden Gnome Award 3. Garden Updates Pocket Park –  A way to incorporate more design into the pocket park on a shoestring. A vertical green element, art, add more climbers to pergolas, add more perennials, etc. Before our meeting, I invite you to do some research on Pinterest and other sites that will spark your imagination and bring your ideas to the meeting.  Planting of pots  Continue to add spring bulbs in the fall Heritage Garden of 1812 –  Stone dust inner path  Introduce bench  Pursue plant ID markers  Pick a Sat. in April to do spring cleanup  Continued public education on historic meaning of this Heritage Garden  Continue to add spring bulbs in the fall Meeting House Garden –  Addition of more hostas, period appropriate birdbath  Seasonal re-potting of urns  Forest Stream Garden Club?  Add spring bulbs in fall Village Hall Front  Planting pots – Spring pansies + pussy willows + daffodils  Vintage urns at door – Planting columnar arborvitae  Add spring bulbs in fall Glen Park Pathway Garden – Continued improvements as suggested by our members and Glen Park Joint Board.
