CELESTE#1 WHEREAS, the Village Board desires to pursue funding opportunities to complete the Sidewalk Gap Infill Project, Phase 2; and WHEREAS, the Village Board desires to provide this type of facility to residents at the lowest possible cost to the Village and Village taxpayers; and WHEREAS, the Village Board desires to apply for financial assistance through the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP); and WHEREAS, the Village Board commits to providing the required local matching funds to ensure the timely implementation of the proposed project; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village Board hereby authorizes the submission of an application to the New York State Department of Transportation for 2025 Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) funds for the Sidewalk Gap Infill Project, Phase 2, in an amount not to exceed $2,149,792, representing 80% of the total project cost of $2,687,240; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon approval of the application for financial assistance, the Village shall make available a minimum of $537,448, representing 20% of the total project cost, as matching funds to satisfy the requirements of the funding program; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village Board authorizes the Mayor to sign all documents and agreements related to the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) application; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Christine Hunt, as Mayor of the Village of Williamsville, is hereby authorized and directed to file an application for funds from the New York State Department of Transportation under the 2025 Transportation Alternatives Program and, upon approval of said request, to enter into and execute a project agreement with the New York State Department of Transportation for such financial assistance for the proposed Sidewalk Gap Infill Project, Phase 2. JACKSON #1 WHEREAS, the Village holds assigned funds totaling $5,530 for the Glen Park Art Festival; and WHEREAS, the purpose of these funds has been completed, necessitating the funds to be reassigned to the Historic Property Assigned Fund; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village Board authorizes the Administrator the reassignment of $5,530 from the Glen Park Art Festival Assigned Fund to the Historic Property Assigned Fund. ## 4
