Commission Meeting

April 20, 2022 A regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners was held on April 20, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at the City Meeting Room. Present Commissioners John Clausen, Bill Kary, Lisa Hedstrom, Jim Schacher and Pres. LeeAnn Domonoske-Kellar. Motion made by Clausen and seconded Kary to approve the minutes of the last regular meeting (4-6- 22) as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Kary and seconded by Hedstrom to approve the agenda as presented. All present voted aye, Motion carried. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Schacher at to deny Tand Construction, LLC bid to chip seal the improvement project area. All present voted aye, Motion carried. The City will obtain bids at later date to have the entire City chip sealed once the improvements are completed. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Clausen to postpone having property owner replace sidewalks on Dakota Ave due to the upcoming improvement project and Ottertail Power replacing the streetlights. All present voted aye, Motion carried. Property owners will be notified by mail. Motion made by Kary and seconded by Clausen to request $244,875.00 from Sales and Use to pay off the water line loan from South Central Water. All present voted aye, Motion carried. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Hedstrom to sign the North Dakota Water Commission Grant Agreement for the 2022 Improvement Project. All present voted aye, Motion carried. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Hedstrom to pay bills as presented. Roll call vote. Aye: Comm. Clausen, Kary, Hedstrom, Schacher and Pres. Domonoske-Kellar. Motion carried.
