Park Board Meeting

Wilton Park Board Meeting Minutes- Annual Budget Meeting Date: September 17, 2025 Time: 7:00pm – 8:00pm Location: Wilton City Hall Attendees • Present: Nicole Schurhamer, Brian Dusek, Amy Rust, Lisa Jenkins, Jamie Schurhamer 1. Call to Order • Lisa called the meeting to order at 7:02pm 2. Approval of Minutes from last Meeting The minutes from the August meeting were reviewed and approved as presented. 3. Treasurer’s Report • Current account balance: $27,646.28 • Summer salaries and water bill need to be paid yet. Brian made a motion to approve treasurer's report, Amy 2nd, the motion carried and was approved. New Business 4. Annual Budget • Annual budget was reviewed- Jamie made a motion to approve the annual budget, Brian 2nd, motion carried, approved. 5. Dan Schonert-Western Edge Electric • Provided a bid for electrical boxes being moved from South Park. Jamie will be reaching out to Clay at Ottertail about details and what needs to be done, if anything. 6. End of year- Park closing • Sprinklers will be blown out and will need to rent a compressor. • Trevor will be taking down the batting cages • Football field, garbages- Park board will meet at noon on 9/27 to clean up. • Reminding the school to call and have the porta-potties picked up. 7. Football field lights • Andy Jordan got a quote to replace the lights- Softball and football field - $67,000 and football field only- $50,000 • Lisa is checking with the School to see the next steps and if they are moving forward with this. 8. WIW • The park board will be taking a year off for 2026 due to a lack of attendance. Meeting adjourned at 8:04pm.
