Special Meeting - Rezoning

August 31, 2022 A special meeting of the Board of City Commissioners was held on August 31, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at the City Meeting Room. Present Commissioners John Clausen, Bill Kary, Lisa Hedstrom, Jim Schacher and Pres. LeeAnn Domonoske-Kellar. Motion made by Schacher and seconded Clausen to finalize the agenda as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the application submitted by A & J Rental to rezone parcels 01002700118010 and 01002700115030 from commercial to industrial. The Wilton Planning and Zoning Board approved the request on July 18, 2022. Motion made by Kary and seconded by Hedstrom to approve A & J Rentals request to rezone parcels 01002700118010 and 01002700115030 from commercial to industrial with the following conditions, the dirt pit is tested for chemical leaks and filled in and all the tanks on the east parcel are removed by November 1, 2022. Roll call vote. Aye: Comm. Clausen, Kary and Hedstrom. Nay: Comm. Schacher and Pres. Domonoske-Kellar. Motion carried. With no other items for discussion Pres.
