Heritage Preservation Commission AGENDA ITEM: 3. Comprehensive Plan Update Sections Review & Discussion PREPARED BY: Luke Sims DATE: December 14, 2022 The City of Winona Comprehensive Plan Update Interim Report is now available for public review and response. The full report can be found online here and Commissioners are encouraged to leave comments online. A survey is also available online here. The draft documentation was prepared following meetings of the steering committee and over 70 meetings with over 100 citizen volunteers in subcommittees. The documentation was shaped by those subcommittees and review form the steering committee. The subcommittees reviewed past plans, ongoing efforts by existing City commissions and boards and were guided by the draft vision and values helped to shape the documentation. Following this cover sheet is the draft Heritage Preservation and Downtown & Riverfront sections of the interim report. They are included here for the review of the Commission and any comments or discussion related to those sections. Commissioners are encouraged to provide feedback at this time or through any of the other available feedback options until January 25th, 2023. Commissioners are also encouraged to provide feedback on the full report beyond these two sections.
