Approval: Request for Second Class Liquor License for Commodities Natural Market of Winooski LLC, 65 Winooski Falls Way – Michael Hughes IV. Adjourn MINUTES The meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 6:00pm. The meeting began with the pledge of allegiance led by Councilor Sweeney. Members Present: Mayor Seth Leonard Councilors: Brian Sweeney, Nicole Mace, Robert Millar Officers Present: Ray Coffey, Interim City Manager; Angela Aldieri, Assistant City Clerk; John Audy, Code Enforcement Director; Peter Wernsdorfer, Public Works Director; John Spittle, Fire Chief; Alex Caron, Firefighter; Kirstie Paschall, Interim Community Services Director; Michael Cram, Sergeant WPD; Heather Carrington, Community and Economic Development Director; Colleen Sullivan, Food Vista; Others Present: Infinite Culcleasure; Jean Saysani; Sally Tipson; Michael O’Brien; Steven Baldasty; Aiyana Baldasty; Maura O’Neill, WCP; Nichol Wolfe; Eileen Andreoli; Eleni Churchill, CCRPC; Minutes of October 17, 2016 Winooski Liquor Control Board Page 1 of 2 www.winooskivt.org III. Regular Items a. Approval: Request for Second Class Liquor License for Commodities Natural Market of Winooski LLC, 65 Winooski Falls Way – Michael Hughes Mr. Hughes of Commodities Natural Market was present to respond to questions. He gave a brief introduction about what his store will sell and expressed excitement about the location. MOTION by Councilor Mace, seconded by Councilor Millar to approve the request for a second class liquor license for Commodities Nature Market of Winooski as presented. Voted and passed 3-0. Congratulations were express to Mr. Hughes and it was noted that a lot of effort had been spent in the past to bring a market to Winooski to end the food desert in the community. The anticipated opening will be after Thanksgiving. IV. Adjourn MOTION by Councilor Millar, seconded by Councilor Sweeney to adjourn the Liquor Control Board meeting at 6:05pm. Voted and passed 3-0.
