Answers included what businesses are planning for their future. What their employees are experiencing. What other businesses they’d like to see in our community. What concerns they have about infrastructure projects or parking, for example. How we can help connect businesses to each other, and to the community, promote events and opportunities. Candidates shared their contact R information and a brief statement about their background and why they are running for City Council. Meredith asked candidates how they would keep Winooski’s vibrancy going. Candidates discussed diversity, walkability, attracting new businesses, independent/small/Vermont based (disagreement on attracting large/corporate employers), support youth, engage community in big decisions, support affordability and housing access, D maintain public infrastructure, avoid visible vacancy, focus on branding and promotion Meeting End Time: 4:59 PM
