Public Comment None III. Approve Previous Meeting Minutes Decision: Approved Motion by: P Second: JA IV. City Council Liaison Update No decisions made at the last meeting, just discussions. They are hearing from city department heads to make priorities for FY ‘24 V. Inclusion & Belonging Commission Update Parker Silver reported that a new member was assigned. The commission discussed stipends for commissioners on the Inclusion and Belonging Commission, with the potential to expand to other commissions. There may be a line item for child care stipend as well. VI. Discussion: Downtown Winooski Update/Q&A with Melissa Corbin, Executive Director Melissa Corbin is brand new as of two weeks so doesn’t have too much insight yet into the role, but Councilor Thomas Renner was present to answer questions. Melissa Corbin plans to meet with business leaders and perform a needs assessment. AL noted that the commission has questions about the vacancies in commercial buildings (how much is vacant, why it’s vacant, and what we can do to fill the space). The commission discussed current potential vacancies - St Stephen’s and other restaurants. Commissioners want to stress that a grocery store would be a priority to attract businesses. VII.
