Discussion/Approval: Hometeste Foodmarket - Tobacco License and Tobacco Endorsement IV. Adjourn MINUTES The Mayor called the meeting to order at 6:01 pm. Councilor Oakleaf led the Pledge of Allegiance. Members Present: Mayor Kristine Lott Deputy Mayor James Duncan Councilors: Bryn Oakleaf, Aurora Hurd, Thomas Renner Officer’s Present: Elaine Wang, City Manager; Janet Brouard, Sr Asst City Clerk; Paul Sarne, Communications Director; Angela Aldieri, Finance Director; John Audy, Fire Chief; Rick Hebert, Police Chief; Jon Rauscher, Public Works Director; Eric Vorwald, Planning/Zoning Manager; Jenny Willingham, City Clerk; Ray Coffey, Community Services Director. Other’s Present: Town Meeting TV, Francine, Marielle Matthews, Heather Carrington, Arica Bronz, Daisy Berbeco, Indra Acharya, Abdimajiid Mohamed, Margaret Bass, Mary Hussman, Thea Wurzburg, Ryan Johnston, Corali Bisbee, Bruce Wilson, Andy, Sam Russo, Hal Colston, Meghan, Amelie Thurston, Bill Niquette, Melo Grant, Robert Millar, WSD Antiracism Steering Committee. Courtney Fleischer, SurjBTV, Erick Nsabimana, Hadija Uwizeye. III. Regular Items a. Approval: Second Class & Tobacco License – New Hometeste Foodmarket – 325 Main Street Ste 4 Ms. Willingham said this establishment is here tonight for approval to grant a liquor license to Hometeste Foodmarket located at 325 Main Street The Department of Liquor Control previously approved all tobacco licenses, but has now passed that back down to the Citys and Towns for approval. Ms. Willingham said the owners are here and invited them to introduce themselves to the Mayor and Council and tell a little bit about themselves. Erick Nsabimana and Hadija Uwizeye spoke briefly about their background and vision to open this business. The Mayor thanked them for coming tonight and wished them success.. MOTION by Counclor Renner seconded by Councilor Oakleaf to approve the Second Class & Tobacco License as presented. Voted and passed 4-0. IV. Adjourn MOTION by Councilor Oakleaf seconded by Councilor Renner to adjourn the Liquor Control Meeting at 6:07 pm. Voted and passed 4-0.
