Adjourn Minutes The Mayor called the meeting to order at 6:01 pm. Deputy Mayor Duncan led in the Pledge of Allegiance. Members Present: Mayor Lott Deputy Mayor Duncan Councilors: Bryn Oakleaf and Aurora Hurd Officer’s Present: Elaine Wang, City Manager; Paul Sarne, Communications Director; Angela Aldieri, Finance Director; John Audy, Fire Chief; Jon Rauscher, Public Works Director; Eric Vorwald, Planning/Zoning Manager; Jenny Willingham, City Clerk; Ray Coffey, Community Services Director; Barbara Pitfido, Senior Center Director; Robin Merritt, Recreation and Parks Manager; Angel Lane, Assistant City Clerk Other’s Present: Ryan Johnston, Meaghan Willis, Lorrie Hoffman, Lance McKee, Bhatka Pradhan, Aaron Fournier, Judy Lance, Marielle Matthews, Town Meeting TV, Jamie LaCourse, Winooski Library, Kirsten Wilson, Jean Coffey, Andy Blanchet, Mary Hussmann, Meghan, Francine Bahati, Indra Acharya III. Regular Items A. Discussion/Approval - Pradhan- 2nd Class Liquor License, Tobacco License - Jenny Willingham, City Clerk Jenny Willingham, City Clerk introduced Mr. Pradhan to the Council. There were some questions and discussion regarding violations noted on the property being leased by Mr. Pradhan. The property owner Aaron Fournier was presented and there was discussion on getting the building up to code so that the Certificate of Fitness can be issued. Until the Certificate of Fitness is issued the Tobacco License cannot be issued. The business has an existing 2nd Class Liquor License and can operate under that license currently. MOTION: by Councilor Duncan second by Councilor Oakleaf to approve the 2nd class Liquor License and Tobacco License as presented pending the Certificate of Fitness being approved. Vote and passed 3-0. B. Discussion/Approval: RMJ – 1st Class Restaurant/Bar License, 3rd Class Restaurant/Bar License, Application for Entertainment Permit, Restaurant License Application - Jenny Willingham, City Clerk Jenny Willingham, City Clerk introduced Ryan Johnston to the Council. Mr. Johnston shared his vision for McKee’s. Mr. Johnston’s plans were warmly received by the Council. MOTION: by Councilor Duncan second by Councilor Oakleaf to approve the 1st Class Restaurant/Bar Licenses, 3rd Class Restaurant/Bar License, Entertainment Permit and Restaurant License Application as presented. Voted and passed 3-0. IV. Adjourn MOTION: by Councilor Duncan second by Councilor Hurd to adjourn the Winooski Liquor Control Board at 6:23 pm. Voted and passed 3-0.
