CALL TO ORDER In attendance: Caroline Gunther, Ben Smith, Jerry Fitzgerald 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. September 2021 Economic Vitality Team Minutes 3. NEW BUSINESS 1. Suggestions to Pivot Grant Updates - Duke Energy Grant The team reviewed suggested updates to the Pivot Grants in light of the Duke Energy grant program. 2. Social Districts Legislation Jamie attended a webinar reviewing the new social districts legislation. This could potentially allow open container consumption. Staff will monitor legislation and towns using the social districts and consider for events policies in the next year. 3. Small Scale Manufacturing - Approved, now what's next? No action was taken but the team discussed future business recruitment efforts. 4. OLD BUSINESS 1. Employee Training Program The application for ARP funding from the City was submitted, no action taken by team. 5. OTHER BUSINESS 6.
