Discussion: Review of Commission Charter Commissioners reviewed the Charter for the Safe, Healthy, Connected People Commission. No notable questions for comments. R V. Election of Officers: Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary Courtney Blasius nominated Kim Jordan to serve as Secretary. Seconded by Mary Hussmann. Kim accepted the nomination. Approved 3 – 0 (Kim Jordan abstained). D Paul Rabidoux nominated Mary Hussmann to serve as Chair. Seconded by Courtney Blasius. Mary accepted the nomination. Approved 3 – 0 (Mary Hussmann abstained). Kim Jordan nominated Courtney Blasius to serve as Vice Chair. Seconded by Mary Hussmann. Courtney accepted the nomination. Approved 3 – 0 (Courtney Blasius abstained). VI. Adoption of FY20 SHCP Commission Schedule Motion by Paul Rabidoux to schedule the Safe, Healthy, Connected People Commission Meeting for the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM until such time as it becomes necessary to adjust the schedule. Seconded by Courtney Blasius. Approved 4 – 0. VII. Discussion: Review of Safe, Healthy, Connected People Goals from Winooski Master Plan and City Council’s FY20 Policy and Strategy Priorities Commissioners reviewed and discussed the SHCP Goals and Objectives from the City’s Master Plan, and the FY20 Policy and Strategy Priorities for the Safe, Healthy, Connected People goal area. VIII. Discussion: Community Services, Police, and Fire Department Overviews City staff briefly presented the organizational charts for the Police Department, Fire/Code, and Community Services Department.
