Winthrop Board of Appeals March 28, 2024 Meeting Minutes Harvey Hearing Room Board Members in Attendance: Darren Baird- Chair Jaime Stern- Member Jason Wright- Associate Member John Young- Member Marc Chapdelaine- Member Tom Chiudina - Member Meeting Called to Order at 6:30 followed by roll call. * Of Note: There was no audio for the first 20 minutes of the meeting and video was limited. Continuations: None. General Business: 82 Main Street- 011-2013/ 005-2024- There was discussion regarding this property and the proposal that they would like to convert a garage with an apartment above it to have 2 dwellings on a single lot. The Board was unclear if a hardship still exists, and discussed if a new hardship needs to be established. It was agreed that this would be continued until the April 25, 2024 meeting and the Applicant would consider if they are seeking a variance or not. A floor plan was requested for that meeting. No public comments. Member Chapdelaine made a motion to continue, and Member Wright seconded the motion. 50 Cliff Avenue- A resident asked for an update regarding this project. The Board explained that the application was withdrawn and that it was not decided by the BOA. Further inquiries should be directed to the Building Department. A motion to adjourn the Meeting was made and seconded. All voted in favor. The Meeting was adjourned at _7:29pm__.
