Meeting Minutes TSAC November 17, 2021 DATE: September 16, 2023 SUBJECT: Transportation Safety Advisory Committee Minutes from November 17, 2021 This meeting was held via the Zoom online platform. Meeting called to order by Michael Diluiso at 8:10 AM Members Present: • Michael Diluiso, Parking Department • Ben Schad, Resident Representative • Lisa Plotnick, Resident Representative Members Absent: • Director Steven Calla, Department of Public Works • Deputy Chief John Goodwin, Police Department • Chief W. Scott Wiley, Fire Department • John Eade, Resident Representative Mr. Diluiso stated that Chief Wiley informed him last night that he would be unable to attend the meeting this morning and this morning both Deputy Chief Goodwin and Director Calla informed him they were both unavoidably tied up. Mr. Diluiso stated that while the committee did not have a quorum and would not meet this morning, he would give members of the public in attendance a chance to speak and pass that information on to the rest of the committee members. Julia Wallerce of Morton St thanked the committee for taking up the issue of stop signs on the streets intersecting Morton St and hopes further traffic calming measures can be looked at as well. Mr. Diluiso thanked Mr. Schad and Ms. Plotnick for their time this morning. Meeting adjourned at 8:14 AM Date Minutes Approved: September 20, 2023 Page 1 of 1

Discuss conditions on Crystal Cove Ave between Park Ave between Shirley St and Hillside Ave related to parking and traffic direction 4. Discuss ordinance language regarding a set distance for parking from a driveway 5. Discuss proposal to amend stop sign ordinance to include streets intersecting Morton St Old Business 1. Proposal to make Cottage Ave a one-way between Terrace Ave and Hillside Ave 2. Proposal to eliminate currently posted on-street time limits along Shirley St from Veterans Rd to the vicinity of Beacon St and allow businesses to request a limited number of time restricted spots adjacent to their storefronts 3. Continuation of discussion regarding lack of crossing guards 4.
