ABSENT CommissionerAllan Montiel CITIZENCOMMENTS (NON.AGENDAITEMS) None Cin FILE#DR22.01:DESIGNREVIEWFORA DRIVE.THRU RESTAURANT Lauren Scott presented Design Review application DR22-01 to make modifications to anexisting drive-thru building. The property is located at NE 238th Drive nearthe intersection at Sandy Blvd and is within an existing commercial centerthatincludesWalmart.Theproposal istoconverta BurgerKingdrivethru restaurantintoa Starbucks maintaining the drive thru component. The proposed revisions will modify the exterior finishes ofthe building including color, removing two windows, updating the awnings, additional seating, and landscaping. All zoning and development minimum standards have been met. There will be no changes to the footprint. The proposed changes blend with the environment, match the building's architectural style andenhance the building. Staffrecommends approval of DR22-01 subject to the conditions ofaDDrovalto assure compliance withCitystandards. Upon motion byS.Dirks,seconded byJensenandpassing4-0, DR22-01 wasapproved subjecttotheconditions of approval to assure compliance with City standards. OTHERBUSINESS Dirks stated the HB2001 code amendment meeting on May26thwill bea joint adoption hearing withthe City Council. There were nocomments regarding HB2001 atthe open house andthe proposed code changewill bethe state minimum. Also, wouldliketo havea jointmeetingwiththeCityCouncilonJune16thto reviewthetinyhome feedbackfrom the open house. Montieljoinedthemeetingat6:09pm.
