Woodbury City Council Canvassing Board November 12, 2020 Call to Order Mayor Anne Burt called the virtual meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Roll Call Upon roll call the following were present: Mayor Anne Burt, Councilmembers: Amy Scoggins, Andrea Date and Steve Morris. Councilmember Jennifer Santini was absent. Others Present: Kimberlee K. Blaeser, City Clerk Review of City Offices Election Results Kimberlee Blaeser, City Clerk, summarized the election statistics and explained the City of Woodbury had 49,103 registered voters in the City at 7:00 a.m. on Election Day. She stated an additional 2,498 voters registered to vote on Election Day including absentee voters. A total of 46,092 Woodbury residents participated in the election, including absentee voters. She stated Woodbury’s voter turnout was 89.3 percent. Ms. Blaeser stated there is a resolution before Council declaring Andrea Date and Kim Wilson as winners of the November 3, 2020 General Election. Ms. Blaeser stated the total votes cast for Andrea Date was 10,806 and the total votes cast for Kim Wilson was 9,576. Councilmember Date informed Council that per the City Attorney, there is no conflict of interest for her to vote on certifying the elections results. Resolution Certifying the Results for City Offices of the General Election of November 3, 2020 Councilmember Scoggins moved, seconded by Council Member Morris, To adopt the following resolution: Resol. No. 20-222 Resolution of the City of Woodbury, Washington County, Minnesota Certifying the Results for the City Offices of the General Election of November 3, 2020 for Votes cast for two (2) – four (4) year Council Member Voting via voice: Amy Scoggins – aye Andrea Date – aye Steve Morris – aye Jennifer Santini - absent Anne Burt – aye Mayor Burt adjourned the Woodbury City Council Canvassing Board meeting at 6:10 p.m. Kimberlee K.
