Woodbury City Council Canvassing Board November 16, 2022 Call to Order Mayor Anne Burt called the Woodbury City Council Canvassing Board meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Roll Call Upon roll call the following were present: Mayor Anne Burt, Councilmembers: Kim Wilson, Jennifer Santini, Steve Morris and Andrea Date. Others Present: Kimberlee K. Blaeser, City Clerk and Clint Gridley, City Administrator. Review of City Offices Election Results Kimberlee Blaeser, City Clerk, summarized the election statistics and explained the City of Woodbury had 50,375 registered voters in the City at 7:00 a.m. on Election Day. She stated an additional 1,565 voters registered to vote on Election Day including absentee voters. A total of 35,345 Woodbury residents participated in the election, including absentee voters. She stated Woodbury’s voter turnout was 70 percent. Ms. Blaeser stated there is a resolution before Council declaring winners of the election as follows: For One (1) Mayor – Four (4) year term to commence on January 1, 2023 and expire December 31, 2026: Anne Burt – Total Votes: 24,550 For One (1) Council Member – Four (4) year term to commence on January 1, 2023 and expire December 31, 2026: Jennifer Santini – Total Votes: 14,486 For One (1) Council Member – Four (4) year term to commence on January 1, 2023 and expire December 31, 2026: Steve Morris – Total Votes: 13,263 Councilmember Date moved, seconded by Council Member Wilson, To adopt the following resolution: Resol. No. 22-221 Resolution of the City of Woodbury, Washington County, Minnesota Certifying the Results for the City Offices of the General Election of November 8, 2022 for Votes cast for one (1) four (4) year Mayor and two (2) – four (4) year Council Member Voting via voice: Kim Wilson – aye Andrea Date – aye Steve Morris – aye Jennifer Santini - aye Anne Burt – aye Mayor Burt adjourned the Woodbury City Council Canvassing Board meeting at 6:40 p.m. Kimberlee K.
