Roll was taken. Scott Hill Park and Sports Complex Update Scope of work bid out and waiting for details. Gold Leaf event went very well. Page Page31ofof40 3  Tracy, shared with Sandy to have their engineer resubmit for an extension of phase 1 this will be expiring at the end of this year. Also get phase II plans in for review. C. Horseshoe Lake Updates https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0oXF2qo22k Tracy Coleman shared with the committee that we continue to struggle with vandalism. Recently the women's public restroom was vandalized. We have had a lot of digging in the sand at Horseshoe Lake where people have dug out huge holes and then we have to come in and shovel that sand back. Carter's buddy bench was also vandalized it has been removed to make necessary repairs. We had someone reach out to us who would like to donate a permanent commercial type bench they are out trying to raise money. D. Horseshoe Lake Water Testing Kathy Morrison shared with the committee that the water testing was completed in July and August with good results but, September and October the lake was so low that they were not able to put the boat in the water for testing. E. Horseshoe Lake Tracking Log Kathy Morrison shared that the river levels have been extremely low this summer and into fall which causes the lake levels to also be very low. F. RCO Maintenance Grant Tracy Coleman shared with the committee that we did not received the RCO grant for park maintenance. The broken bridge structure piece was included in the maintenance grant so, it has now been ordered. VI. NEW BUSINESS G. Acts Prohibited in The Park Kathy Morrison provided the Park Board with acts prohibited in the park to include fireworks, discharge, sales and purchase ordinance and the penalty violating these acts. There had been discussion weather it was legal. H. New Fence At Pocket Park Tracy Coleman spoke to the committee that a new fence went up and gravel for parking we also planted some trees and put a fence to separate the residential homes. Tracy wants to add a mutt mitt station and garbage cans to this area. I. Goerig Park Maintenance Page Page42ofof40 3  Tracy Coleman shared with the committee that Taylor Trucking repaired the boat ramp and the parking area with ground up asphalt grindings. They also donated all of there labor and materials and trucking. Thousands of dollars worth of materials were donated. They did a really good job. J. Park Board Committee Appointees Mayor Finn appointed Tom Golik to the Park Board for a full term ending 9.18.2027 and Jennifer Hendrickson for a unexpired term ending 12.31.2025. K.
