WOODS CROSS CITY COUNCIL WORK MEETING The minutes of the Woods Cross City Council meeting, closed session, held March 7, 2024, at 4:00 P.M. in the Woods Cross City Public Works Building located at 2287 South 1200 West, Woods Cross, Utah. CONDUCTING: Ryan Westergard, Mayor COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Ryan Westergard, Mayor Matt Terry Wally Larrabee Jessica Kelemen Julie Checketts Gary Sharp STAFF PRESENT: Bryce Haderlie, City Administrator Mitchell Salas, Police Department Gavin Hanselman, Police Department Michelle Rowley, Police Department VISITORS: Paul Child, Centerville City Chief of Police CANDIDATES: John Sherman Dustin Cordova Brian Wahlin Samuel Wolf Troy Johnson James Bigalow Ceriaco Santos Mayor Westergard called the meeting to order and welcomed all those in attendance. He outlined that he would be asking for a motion to close the meeting for the purpose of conducting interviews with the candidates for the position of Chief of Police MOTION TO GO INTO CLOSED SESSION At 4:17 P.M. Council Member Sharp made a motion to go into closed City Council meeting with Council Member Larrabee seconding the motion and all voted for the motion through a roll call vote: Council Members Checketts, Kelemen, Sharp, Terry, and Larrabee all voting in favor of closing the meeting. DISCUSSION and INTERVIEWING of CANDIDATES for CHIEF of POLICE The City Council continued with a special session to interview candidates for the position of Chief of Police at Woods Cross City. MOTION TO ADJOURN At 11:07 P.M.
