Final Minutes
Call to Order: 5:31 PM
Roll Call: Nancy Atkinson, Susie Dorsey, Diane Garcia, Kelly Zeytoonian, Fentress Hall,
Anne Van Camp, Kristina Chancholo, Melinda Stoker, Lexi Bartlo
Absent: John Matheny, Barbara Calbert
Guests: Kevin Bryant and Melissa Cardinale
Public Communications: None
Approval of Minutes from October 26, 2022. Lexi Bartlo motioned to approve the minutes and
Susie Dorsey 2nd
(No meetings took place November and December.)
Old Business:
1. Updates from Anne Van Camp regarding exploring dates with San Mateo County Large
Animal Evacuation Group for an emergency preparedness event this spring (prior to fire
season.) She will ask if a date can be nailed down for March 2023 with the Horse Park
being a possible equestrian location to explore.
2. LEHC name change to Livestock Committee: Kevin Bryant weighed in on the name change
suggestion and said having “Equestrian Heritage” is an important part of the committee
charter addition resulting from the last General Plan process and a change would require a
new review and approval by Town Council. Anne Van Camp made a motion to keep the name
as LEHC and the committee members unanimously voted to keep it LEHC. Diane Garcia 2nd
the motion.
New Business:
1. Renew Barn Tour event – consider spring 2023 dates (Showcase new technologies on fly
control, stable mats, and other amenities such as climate control in feed rooms, etc.) The
committee agreed that having a vendor event hosted somewhere is more ideal than at
someone’s barn. It was suggested that Day of The Horse might be an opportunity to
showcase vendors and Anne Van Camp mentioned that some of Day of The Horse may
take place at the Horse Park. This might be an ideal setting and details for DOTH will be
confirmed shortly.
2. Melinda will not be available to host the committee meeting in February and we need to
identify another member to lead the meeting. Fentress will lead the February meeting.
3. Any other updates: Melinda would like to change the LEHC cartoon horse on the website
and member agreed. Kelly Zeytoonian offered equestrian photos LEHC could use.
Update: Anne showed the committee the poster for horse safety she created. LEHC
approved the poster and Anne will coordinate with Sean Rose on distributing them to
builders/construction companies in Woodside.
4. Next Meeting: Fentress Hall suggested making a list of projects and goals at the
beginning of the year and heading it “New Ideas”. Melinda will add this to the next
agenda.
Meeting adjourned: 6:26 PM Diane Garcia motioned to end the meeting and Melinda
Stocker 2nd
